About

From small town New Zealand. At home in creativity.

For as long as I can recall I have been in a deep and loving relationship with art, it has consumed my very soul and made me into the person I am today.

I can’t tell you when I really started creating because it was probably some puffy paint art that lived on my parent's fridge but I can tell you about when I was twelve and started doing professional photography, within a matter of months I was the official stills photographer on a feature film being made in my town. This experience made me want to work in film more than anything, at fifteen I started my own production company so I could produce my own work after discovering most people wouldn’t hire a kid as crew on their sets.

Following that I made several short films, was funded to make my series In The Rainbow by Television New Zealand, continued to make short films, contracted on many sets around the country for local and international productions, worked as a cinematographer, editor and writer, went on to work for a time at New Zealand Media and Entertainment then to Television New Zealand where I worked for three years before making the move across the world to London.

Flash forward almost two years: I’ve worked as a producer, 1st AD, and PM on a number of music videos, short films, commercials, and features across the UK and Europe. At the same time, I have continued creating my own content writing and directing independent projects.

So that sums up the last ten years of my life in a few paragraphs, if my journey intrigues you please take a look around, follow my work or reach out.
